課程概述 |
The hazards imposed by
earthquakes are unique in
many respects, and
consequently planning to
mitigate earthquake hazard
requires a unique
engineering approach. The
major earthquake effects
that cause extensive loss of
life are collapse of
buildings bridges, dams, and
other works of man. It is
this fact that has led to
earthquake hazard reduction
only by the design and
construction of earthquake
resistant structures. This
course will teach a profound
influence of earthquake
performance of structures
and provide the principal of
earthquake resistant design.
